That's too far back. However, my uncle use to show us movies, at that time black & white; colour wasn't invented then. They were things like Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, etc. I don't remember my first movie at the theatre. I do remember that you could go in any time during the movie and see it then wait till it came on again and watch it again and again. Their was a stage, a heavy curtain, an emcee, cartoons, news reels, double features and a piano. There was also the Loges which means the balcony. It was a lot more fun back then and not nearly as expensive as it is today. My husband told me when he was a boy, when the news reels came on he saw his Dad who was in the service. The manager, closed the theatre and had a special showing for the whole family because they didn't see him for so long. Those were the days. Thank you for the wonderful trip down memory lane. You get a star!!

The first movie I ever saw in a drive-thru was a series of Filipino movies known as "Pinoy Thriller." That is when I lived in the Philippines, naturally. :) That was in 1985.
The first movie I ever saw in a theather was Ghostbusters. ;)

for me it was the original of the 'Shaggy DA', we saw it at the Drive-in's and my aunt and uncle had us kids hide in the back of the combi under a blanket to get us in for free, lol.
Mid 70's
In cinema I think it was "Annie", can't remember when it was tho.

Disney's Sleeping Beauty - at the drive-in w/a grocery bag (greasy bottom) of popcorn, in my jammies, stretched out in the back of the family station wagon.
