Funny, I've thought the same thing about republicans--they don't know how to take a joke & take life in general WAAAY to seriously & butt into others private! lives. See how when we generalize about any group we can be so wrong!

Very happy democrat here.
Not, "I'm happy, so there!" happy. Just happy.
I respect my President. I expect people to do the same. I speak up when the don't (I did when they attacked President Clinton, but didn't fault them when they proved a point or two IN COURT).
When people act seditiously toward President Bush (not disagree/dissent/protest, all of which can be done patriotically) I speak up and call their acts seditious.
When people push a socialist agenda under the label, "Liberal Democrat" I call it what it is: Socialist.
I don't whine. I speak up. I don't gossip. I say things to people's faces. I hope you do the same. We're Americans.
Keep speaking up. (I have to admit I know what you are talking about it. Hard to miss when I'm a public school teacher, yet I saw similar behavior when President Clinton was in office from some republicans. There's always someone who doesn't "Get" democracy).

They are outgoing and happy cause they are to busy getting high sniffing the crap the bush administration keeps feeding them. We on the other hand live in the real world where no American can go outside this country and find somewhere they arent hated .Because they think we would rather police the world than take care of our employees who arent getting paid enough to put food on the table. Then watch the corporate bozos one by one send our jobs to these same people overseas who hate our guts. BTW were you asking a question or making a stupid statement?

i do no longer understand. I supported John Kerry merely with the aid of fact he grew to become into waiting to overwhelm certainly everybody in the debates. Howard Dean got here off as style of loopy. The Evangelicals will in all probability help Hillary get elected in the event that they run a third social gathering candidate (that's what they're threatening to do if Rudy wins the nomination). Ron Paul might have not got any probability with the aid of fact he's no longer even a Republican, he's a Libertarian. u . s . a . of america will on no account decide for a eco-friendly social gathering candidate or a Libertarian with the aid of fact they're too severe. i do no longer understand why Dennis Kucinich (a socialist) keeps on working with the aid of fact he will additionally on no account have a raffle. i think of John Kerry might've had a raffle if human beings did no longer fall for those Swiftboat classified ads. somebody might've smeared whoever the Democratic nominee grew to become into. Bush beat John McCain with the aid of fact of smear campaigns. you does no longer ought to lie lots approximately Guiliani with the aid of fact he already has various very own issues his opposition can use against him.

Is pizza delivery considered part of the "Service Industry"?
Neo-cons are too phony to express how they really feel in the first place. No wonder they are such sociopaths. They can't say, "I'm a little down today". They have to pretend that life is a rose 24/7. Being honest about one's feelings is far better than smiling on the outside and then torturing people to work out one's frustrations.
This is why they love war, and are so materialistic. They are trying to mask their true feelings with material things while venting their self loathing through lie based wars and torture.

I haven't noticed it myself, but that's partly because I live in Canada (our equivalents are the conservatives and the NDP). If it is in fact true, then perhaps it's because the democrats just have a better idea of what's going on than the republicans and realize just how bad some things are, while the republicans just have to put their faith in Jesus Bush- whoops, I meant George W. Christ- and suddenly it looks to them like all their problems are solved. Sort of like 1984.

right...you don't know because they tell you their political affiliation, or because you ask...you can just tell from their attitude, and that's how you know who's what.
Can you really not find the fault in this logic?
When you encounter happy outgoing people, you assume they are republican. When you encounter sad, withdrawn people, you assume they are democrat. You have absolutely no way of proving this hypothesis. You simply continue in your assumptions. Your logic is circular.

If Republicans are more happy, then why does Rush need pills to please him?
I'm a liberal Democrat and I"m happy as a clam. Sounds like you have a lot of hate inside you. Sounds like you are unhappy with a lot of things.

It is true. Us Democrats are very unhappy with what has happened to our country. Measure it by any means, and the conclusion is the same.
The Administration will be going to jail, leaving one hell of a mess for the Democrats to straighten out AGAIN.

That's because of the basic liberal philosophy. They are miserable because they don't believe that people are capable of taking care of themselves and bettering their own situation, they need the government to take care of them. If they're not in the position they want to be - it's because they're being screwed over.
Republicans however believe that all people are capable of achieving and ultimately responsible for their own wellbeing and happiness. They understand that the largest factor in where they are and where they'll end up in life is their own willingness to work towards their goals.
