I have a pair of flats that are light green (not lime green) and light brown strips on them. I want to wear them with jeans but I'm not sure what shirt would go well with it. What colours would look best? Anything other than brown or green?

A picture would be helpful.
Besides brown and green shirts: try tan, khaki, and beige; and the green, as well as white/ivory.
Or, find a bag or belt with the green in it, and wear with anything.

eh, I would stay away from colors that aren't on the shoes. maybe white or black, but brown and green are def. the best color shirt to try and find.

I think what you can do here is let your shoes be the center of attention, meaning let them be the ones to pop. You can wear solid-colored tops (black, white, blue, pink, yelow), pair them with jeans and your shoes. Tops can be versatile from tanks to polos to tubes to turtlenecks, etc. Don't be scared to experiment. You can wear all these tops and your shoes with jeans, capris, minis, shorts, etc.
