I dont think he knows what it is it meant at the time of saying let alone what it would take to demonstrate that he meant it if ya get what I mean....

It's a good blanket statement and platform to say that no child will be left behind, but when he said that he didn't know (or maybe he just didn't care) that it would be next to impossible to implement and would nearly bankrupt school systems in the process. I hold a degree in Elementary Ed. and it is sad how teachers are being trained now to "teach to the test"....they push math and reading because students will be tested on that, but the other subjects get much less attention. Don't get me wrong, teachers are heroes and they are doing the best they can to guide our children's learning, but the pressure is really bad in a lot of school districts (especially those at risk). I could go on and on...

Well, Bush has actually increased Education funding.

Unlike the last time we had a Democratic President and a Democratic Congress , who actually CUT education funding 16%.

Don't you find it interesting though that state public education has been fighting this tooth and nail for years? It's almost as if they want some kids left behind, promoted without earning it, and graduating without knowing how to read, write and add.

he has done a wonderful job of seeing that no rich kid is left behind.

hey, he has to start somewhere, right?

Only problem is that it looks like he has stopped there.

Now, he's working on getting rich folks more welfare, in the form of huge tax cuts.
