My crimson beauty(the red one) is doing well, but does anybody know why the striped beauties are not doing anything. They've had no flowers and very little growth. Do these have different needs than regular cannas? What do you think could be wrong?

the same happend to mine and i just made sure that the were handaled neatly and i planted them in a very sunny spot but the shady spot is the best for thos kind of flowers!

Usually variegated varieties of plant do not require as much sun as those that are not. Also not a good idea to have them close to each other because they could easily cross pollinate
and change both varieties.

cultivars (striped) are less hardy than the species.
