Dude, go to Hilton Head. Its also only 12 hours away, and is WAY nicer than Myrtle or Virginia Beach. Look on www.skyauction.com for cheap places to stay, or on the travel section of eBay! You can also think about the Outer Banks in North Carolina- also very nice, and 12 hours away. Carolla is particuarly nice. Only go to Myrtle if you like a crowded beach, and lots of cheesy touisty crap.
