Love hurts.

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies." --Aristotle "It's so easy, To think about Love, To Talk about Love, To wish for Love, But it's not always easy, To recognize Love, Even when we hold it.... In our hands." --Jaka There is only one happiness in life -- to love and to be loved. George Sand You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly. Sam Keen To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. Heather Cortez The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart. Helen Keller I love quotes :) heres a star

Let me not to the meeting of true minds
Admit impediments, Love is not love
which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark
whose worth's unknown although it's height be taken
Love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
within his bending sickle's compass come
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks
But bears it out, even to the edge of doom
If this be error, and upon me proved
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Shakespeare's 116th sonnet
Have a star!

heres a star...and some of my faves:

God: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)

General: love is patient, love is kind...love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

Family: Families are like fudge ... mostly sweet with a few nuts.

Friends: Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10)

Missing Friends/Lovers: Abscence makes the heart grow fonder

Movie:
Allie- It's not over
Noah- It never was
~The Notebook

To Boys: I wish that you could know...that all those love icons...were for you.

This is more of a poem, but I love it. By a Puritan poet - Anne Bradstreet:

If ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were loved by wife, then thee;
If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me ye women if you can.
I prize thy love more that whole mines of gold,
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.
My love is such that rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee give recompense.
Thy love is such I can no way repay,
The heavens reward thee manifold I pray.
Then while we live, in love let’s so persever,
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

"Love for any time at all is worth the price you pay to fall."
from an old, as in the late 60's, Stone Ponys song (Linda Rodstadt & who are now the Eagles)

“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love.”

Love is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but it eventually comes to an end.

Your heart is like a broken mirror, it may be healed but it would never look the same again.
