To People With Body Piercings?

I really want to get my bellybutton or nose pierced, but my mom said I have to be at least 16. How old were you when you got your body pierced? Thanks so much!

I got my ear pierced when I turned 15. The date was set previously by my older brother, who got his at 15.

At 18, I was allowed any piercing I wanted sans tongue. So, I got my eyebrow pierced.

I don't think it's important to limit someone's age on most piercings, as they can easily be taken out and healed over. But, keep in mind, scars too form, and infections occur.

One of my friends has her naval, tongue, and nose pierced and she just turned 14. But she's a little wild...

I'd say 15 is around the right age. Maybe 16.

I had my friend pierce my nose when I was in 8th grade. It doesn't hurt that bad. But I don't think piercings are attractive, so I took it out two weeks later. It was a dumb thing to do.

when i got my belly button pierced i was 18 then right after that i got my lip and at before i turned 19 i got my tongue.. dont rush it everything will come at its own time..be patient
