i did nd i thought i did well.......but what did u get 4 the question where u had 2 cubes nd u had 2 find the depth the water will be if u pour it from the small one 2 the big one.........nd how do u get that?

Well mom, let L be the lenght of the side of the biger cube and l that of the smaller one. Then the volume of wateer in the smaller cube is l^3. When you pour the water from the smaller to the bigger, the water mass forms a paralellepiped of a height h and of a square base of side L. The volume of the water mass is therefore L^2 h, and we must have L^2 h = l^3. So, h = l^3/L^2.

The watweer depth is of course h, from the water surface to the bottom of the big cube.
