oh no. is this a trick question? I hope someone answers after me, because the answer is no. =) Most of the time if people are trying to convince me and we don't see eye to eye, I don't care enough to convince them. I have a terrible problem--I don't care if people agree with me or not. If I am right, I am. Also, if I am making a point to someone, as long as they understand how I feel, it's ok that they have the last word, as long as we reach an understanding of eachother.

I believe in fair play and sportsmanship as a way of life.

If I absolutely KNOW that I am right. Usually when it comes to ethics such as animal rights (like your other question) and issues I am an expert in. I take ignorance very serious and will always have the last word.

I don't actively try - just find it difficult to let things drop, probably cos I think of additional points to make after the initial conversation/argument has started to wain (I think slowly). So effectively I suppose I do.

As it is, it is difficult to get in a word edge ways.

I try, but this is usually impossible, since stupidity has more tools to express itself than serendipity has.

Yeah, it makes me feel in control of myself and the other person. Especially if we're quarreling.
