Does anyone actually think that if the "traditional family" groups hammer away enough, that people in same-sex relationships are going to give up on wanting to get or stay married? Do they think we'll collectively say, "We really have been a bother, and we're sorry, and we understand why we're supposed to be treated differently?"
Or is it more likely that with every attempt at a vote, every amendment, every court decision, every Lucy-and-the-football moment, we'll get angrier and more determined?
My wife and I have felt like giving up and just loving each other and living together more than once, and then we realize what a stupid attitude that is, because all the things we do have come from LGBTs fighting for the right to love.
What do you think will finally make the fighting stop?
