Kyle B, are you aware that not all animal testing requires death?

1. I support animal testing to an extent. I do not think we should use animals to test /everything/, but for curing major diseases I am biased towards helping humanity. (But we have plenty of freakin' cosmetics.)

2. Yes.

3. There should be a mixture of restricted uses and alternative testing. As far as eyeliner goes that can be done with alternative testing. Criminals on death row (sp?) are possible candidates for testing, since they've not much to lose anyway. (Warning: Human rights and such would have to play into this one. Would need consent.) For more serious issues, such as curing AIDS, cancer, etc. if animals are needed then we should use them, but following strict rules that help protect the animals as much as possible and functional.

1. I do not support animal testing. It's cruel. It is also impractical - testing on animals is not a good indicator of how it will be with humans.

2. I go out of my way to purchase products that were not tested on animals.

3. Alternative testing should be done. There are other ways....
