It goes like this - we're late and on the school run.

Just as we are rounding the corner at the bottom of the hill a Magpie falls to the centre of the road with a young Blackbird in its tallens. We pull to an abrupt holt as the spectacle is only yards in-front of us. I sounded the horn several times and luckily for our Blackbird the Magpie retreated to a nearby chimney stack - I quickly realised that if the victim was left stumbling around in the road, that the brute from above would soon be back. So i parked up and ushered our temporary friend to the nearest garden gate fortunately this was disused and so overgrown that it almost had trouble making its way in.

Who knows, i doubt the Magpie got him/her - i just hope there was no cat about, but at least we gave the little chap/lass a chance, lets hope all worked out OK.

Yo.

Well, I work in the inner city and there are a lot of homeless people around the area. Some people can be very arrogant and demeaning toward the homeless.

An elderly homeless woman in a wheelchair accidently ran over this businessman's foot when he walked by her. He screamed a few curse words at her and then pushed her out of her wheelchair. She fell to the ground and he just walked away. People around me glanced at her and walked right past her to their destinations. I was just shocked. I ran up to the woman and asked her if she was ok while I put her back into her wheelchair. Tears ran down her face. She was alone in this world. She was saying something to me but it was hard to understand her because she had some sort of speech defect. I asked her if she was thirsty ( its pretty hot here in Texas) and she knodded. I went inside a foodplace and ordered a large sprite drink. She gulped it down and squeezed my hand. I left her to get to my car.

I felt good for her and upset that I didn't get the identity of the man who did that to her. I think about her often. The world is a cruel place.

Took my mom to the hospital after she fainted at work- had to jump out of bed, didn't even wash my face... Waited FIVE hours in the hospital. Luckily there was nothing wrong with her.

It was raining and I looked like crap the entire day. I think I did good.

I'm not correcting the obvious misspelling of your name.
Beyond that, I didn't kick pigeons in the park.
