Which is faster Intel Pent Dual Core or Pent 4?

I recomend:

1) Dual core has 2 Pentium4's working in conjunction... so in general it is fastr.

The dual core would be faster, but if you go dual core I would suggest getting the Intel Core 2 duo line, and not the Pentium D because the Core 2 duo's are faster.

In office applications, a Pentium 4 (>3Ghz) will beat a Pentium dual core running at <3Ghz. The Pentium D is better in multithreaded applications. BOTH are fast in producing HEAT.

BUT why waste your money on these old Pentiums when the new and better one on C2D technology is out in the market.
