Florida. Florida has a low cost of living and good pay based on that low cost of living. The only worry is Hurricanes but the weather is beautiful otherwise. Property taxes are cheaper in Florida..probably because most of the population is old..but if you want to purchase a home i would choose Florida over California any day.

I would say California b/c the weather is better (no hurricanes and not as humid) but its probably more expensive to live out there
