If I just take the seeds out of a spaghetti squash and plant them in the ground, will they grow to a mature plant? Is there a special way to plant these seeds and are there any special tricks to taking care of these plants? Thanks

You're better of drying the seeds out rather than planting them directly. When dried they can be planted and the moisture expands them to allow the plant to germinate.

Then look after them as you would any squash/marrow (cucurbits) until they are ready to harvest.

You can, but if the quash is a hybrid you probably won't get a true squash. Buy the seeds or plants.

plant them at about 2" deep. Water regularly, daily until they germinate, and the every other day until they develope a good root system. You can't cut back the watering once they set fruit. Squash are easy to grow, however, the main problem is insects. Good luck

purchase the seeds contained in the wintry climate. maximum climates require that 4- to 6-week previous vegetation be used with the intention to reap the squash contained in the autumn.Plant right away outdoors in hotter parts.Fill peat moss pots or starter boxes with potting soil.
