If you are losing that much weight at 30 weeks, you need to see your doctor. Don't wait. It's not an emergency, don't go to the ER, but call and tell them why you want an appointment. They should get you in very, very soon.

You need to address why you are losing weight, as this is not healthy for you. Your baby will in all likelihood be fine through this, as your body is 'programmed' to ensure it grows. But they'll want to check to be sure he's growing normally, and to find out why you're losing. In the meantime, eat, and eat, and eat. I drank Boost while pregnant to ensure I got enough calories.

You shouldn't be losing weight when you are that late in pregnancy. Some people lose a couple pounds in the first trimester due to morning sickness but at this point you should be steadily gaining not losing. As for whether the baby is getting the weight you are losing that isn't how it works. Your prenatal check ups should include vitals where they check your blood pressure and your weight if they are not doing this make sure they do.

Sounds to me that you need to see your Doctor and tell him what is going on. I am 20 weeks pregnant and if I was losing weight I would want my Doctor to know. It may not be anything but your fluid levels could be dropping. I would make a visit to be on the safe side.
