Our family is out of state and a phone call seems so impersonal, but i don't think we can fly home. any ideas? how did you do it?

You could buy nice picture frames and send them with a little note saying - "Picture to come (due date)." That's sure to get their attention!! Good Luck

Well, I don't know how cute this is, but here goes. I found out I was pregnant, but didn't know how to tell my mom and dad. So I looked online and found some e-greetings that said stuff like "Guess who's having a baby?" I sent one to my mom and when she called me that night I was like "before you talk to me, check your email!" It only took her about 7 minutes, but when she called me back she was ecstatic! You can personalize them and add little messages to them. It's kind of a cool way to do it I guess.

Seeing how its almost Father's Day, maybe you could send a 'Grampa' card to your father? For the rest of the family, if they are all in one place, it might be fun to send the message in the form of something totally unexpected, like one of those giant cookies, and have them write on it 'We're having a baby!' or something.

I'm 3 months along and still havn't told them, but I'm young (married really young) and I think my family will think I should of waited...a phone call is fine, maybe those little e-mails that you can send cards through.

Phoning is still the best way, a personal voice in conversation to your mum or dad. They will get soo excited.

Get the T shirt that says BABY with the arrow pointing to your tummy, take a photo, and send it to them!!

For father's day, you could give him a framed pic of the ultrasound....
or get him a shirt/hat that says 'world's greatest grandpa'.

That's how I found our about my first kid, damn ex wife & her restraining order......
