Might I suggest you log on to the following site and run their System Scanner software. That will tell you precisely the type of DDR SDRAM that would be suitable for your system, and tell you how much RAM your motherboard is suitable of supporting.

Of course, you don't need to purchase the RAM from Crucial. Just make a note of the type of RAM that you require.

Be aware that purchasing RAM from eBay may not be the wisest choice unless you know precisely what you're looking for. For instance, there's a difference between low density RAM modules and high density RAM modules.

Corsair XMS is one of the more top of the line sticks you can get, but I would suggest looking at www.newegg.com because they will likely have better prices than ebay, and they will have ratings on what is good and bad. 512 RAM prices from $26 to $68.

TwinMOS is one of the best on the market, best if you can find them on ebay it would be cheaper than a PC outlet............newegg is great but im not sure they deliver outside the usa.
