there are a few factors. 1. when you first wake up, your body is coming out of a restful warm comfortable spot. So it takes your mind a small adjustment period to catch up with the reality of wakefulness.
2. Some of us are caffiene dependent, so our bodies are sluggish because we havent has our morning fix. This is like a heroin addict who hasnt scored a hit in 24 hours. They get dopey, and shaky.
3. You may have slept all night but had dreams that didnt allow for a restful sleep, so you wake up feeling as if you got no sleep.

it is just our body functioning, bcoz we have an empty stomach and the bed pulls our body down, makin in harder for us to get up
