I think he will get what he wants, he's the "decider" remember, he's our new dictator telling the press that "I won't take no for an answer" 80% of Americans want the president and congress to drop this Amnesty Bill.

We've lost control of this country to a pack of elitist, self- serving, globalists who don't give a damn about what is best for this country, or what the citizens think.

Go Ron Paul!!!

He is trying to pass it because flawed legislation is better than no legislation. The bill is full of crap, but contains some very useful things. Such as elevating the fines and penalties for employing illegals and reorganizing the Border patrol and immigration services. I don't necessarily agree with the amnesty, but we can't just deport 10 million people, either. I think the bill should be passed and then fixed a little at a time. I agree that the fix shouldn't be necessary, but its Congress we're talking about here.

I wish he would just let it die but I know that he isn't going to. It's not just Bush there are people from both parties trying to get the bill passed and if it does go through I hope we have the guts to kick every politician who voted for the bill out of office.

This proves beyond any doubt how out of touch with reality Bush really is.

No self respecting conservative is going to write a check for any republican candidate who goes along with this farce.

It's all about the amnesty, stupid.

Trying to stir up support for money for border security is going to become lost in the many efforts to deal with the people already inside the US illegally.

I wish they would just stop wasting time. Enforce the laws already on the books. Sorry but I still see this as another one of those non-issues, created to draw our attention away from what is really going on.

Oh no, it's the liberal leftist congress who is pushing this bill, don't you read the answers on here? I find it appalling that two republican Presidents want to give amnesty to illegals, Reagan did it in 86 and that was supposed to be then end. Millions of illegals later, they are at it again. Tell me again how republicans love the rule of law thing.

I do not agree with the immigration bill at all. Why are we rewarding people for sneaking into this country. It makes no sense at all. They have more rights and benefits than a born in America American.
