Intelligence, Kindness, Sense of humor, Good Looks?

How do you arrange them according to importance/what turns you on (#1 being the highest, #4 the lowest)

That's an easy one for me.

1 - Sense of humor. It's a must. You will hit rocky times in the future guaranteed, If you have someone with you that can help you see the brighter side of life, there is nothing better. Even in your crankiest moments, he can find that magical way to make you laugh? Priceless.

2. - Kindness. Kind of goes hand in hand with the first one. If he treats you well and treats others well (parents, family, waitresses etc.) you know you can rely on him. He won't let you down, he'll be upfront with you. Kindness is a direct correlation to what type of morals he has.

3. -Intelligence is great. Nothing wrong with a smart guy. They tend to make more money, which in turns makes for a more comfortable life style, his feeling of being the provider etc. It's also great if you can find someone you are on a pretty equal footing with. That way you can have some great debates.

4. - Good looks. BLAH! Least important in my book. No one is attractive when they're 80. Looks fade, passion whithers, the flame dies to a glowing ember.

But remember, even if the looks go away, and you have built your relationship especially on 1 and 2, you'll love him for what's on the inside. And that's what counts.

Intelligence as long as it comes with a sense of humor that is based in kindness. Good looks is lowest on my priority list as far as meeting new people because I think I would miss some great people if it were higher and if the person has the other three as I get to know them they look better and better.

But I'll admit that all are more or less equally important to me, well except perhaps the good looks.

You've got them in exactly the right order for my taste - and I suspect yours, too. For a long-term relationship, all of the first three are essential.

I do have a female friend (NOT girlfriend, I'm married) who has traits 2 - 4, all very well developed, but who is not big on 1 as we ordinarily think of it. There are lots of kinds of intelligence, though. She is a talented nightclub singer, and I have all three CDs she's cut so far.
