Sounds like he has a drinking problem. My husband dated this girl once and he stopped seeing her cause she wet the bed after drinking. He said she had no self control.

Drunks often wet the bed, couch, whatever they pass out on. If divorce is out of the question I would at least suggest separate beds. The whole room will smell before long. Yuck!

I'd be tempted to wrap him in a sheet and beat the living devil out of him while he was sleeping. Or slip a diaper on his @ss while he's in his drunken sleep. Or perhaps even change the locks to the doors and let him sleep outside with the dogs where he can pee anywhere he likes!

If he is that drunk that he is losing control of his body functions....Why let him into bed? I would let him sleep on the garage floor. Heck ..I would not allow a dog to sleep on the bed that could not control their functions, so out to the garage with this untrained mutt.

she can't do crap the issue here is him drinking noone can fix a drug/drink issue except the person with the problem. She needs to seek help for herself we can't fix no one but, ourselfs. Maybe if she got some treatemt she would get the courage to walk away he will tear them both apart with his disease

He should stop drinking. But until he does his wife should have nice thick, cloth diapers and plastic panties that she can put on him on those nights when he drinks too much.

Eeeeew! It's his job and, if he needs teaching on how to do it properly, then so be it. Maybe he's embarrassed though. She should go about it kindly.

he DOES have a drinking problem! it happens when he passes out from drinking too much, and will continue till he stops drinking... tell her to go to a few Al-Anon meetings if she can, they will help her understand all this

"(divorce is out of the question-yet)"

No, I think being with someone who regularly gets so messed up they can't control their bodily functions and expects someone they vowed to "honor and cherish" to wipe it up is pretty much a question of divorce.

He's FAILING to honor and cherish his wife.

He's BREAKING a VOW.

(fixing the problem without divorce... convert him from a drunk to a pothead)

It should be automatic that he sleeps on the couch if he is drunk. They should discuss this ahead of time so he knows that's the deal.

P.S. Don't sit on their couch!
