Ahhh! math kills me, but waht if u had a parallelogram and the eqaution (x+6) and 2x how do you solve it?

Do you mean that two opposite sides of the parallelogram are labeled x+6 and 2x?

If that's the case, then since you know the opposite sides of a parallelogram are the same length as each other:

2x = x + 6
2x - x = x + 6 - x
x = 6

... then x=6.
