Give your baby the regular jello. Artificial sweeteners are not recommended for baby's. Put a little in a bowl and squish it with a fork, so it won't be a choking hazard. I've given my 9 month old jello and he was just fine!

I would stick to baby food and breast milk or formula only until your baby is over 1 years old. Articial sweetners are not good for babies or children.

After your baby is 1 years old then I think regular jello would be okay, just not sugar free. You should check with your doctor also.

Probably, but why would you want to? At that age you ought to feed the baby things that will help them nutritionally and sugar free gello (gelatin and some fake sugar) will not do anything beneficial to the baby's body. I would not recommend feeding a baby sugar-free jello.

Well Honestly, you can give your 9 month old whatever you want. The question really is, is it the right thing for my child to be eating at this age. My answer is NO.

Jell-o poses a choking hazzard so be very careful if you give it to your child and AS ALWAYS, NEVER LEAVE A YOUNG CHILD TO EAT ALONE. I personally did not give my son jell-o until he was well over 2 yrs old, as I did not give him hot dogs till he was over 3 yrs old.

It irritates the heck out of me when my friends are giving their young children (Under 12 months old) some of the crap I see them giving them. One person gives her 8 month old daughter fritos and BBQ chips. I have seen her give her hotdog and tuna macaroni salad without cutting anything up so that her child can actually eat it. The child spits 3/4 of it out and all she is doing is sucking off the BBQ flavoring and the other flavors off the fritos and chips. IRRITATES the heck outta me and people wonder why Maury has kids on there that are 3 years old and weigh 90 pounds. My son is 5 and barely weighs 41 pounds, can you imagine a child half his age but twice his weight! It is up to you as a parent to teach your child and guide your child into making the right food choices. Starting at a young age you should expose your child to many fruits and veggies and healthy things, god knows when they get to be older, they have enough decisions to make!

If you have questions about what to feed your child, honestly, you shouldnt be seeking the "permission/adivice" of anyone online you need to talk to you doctor. NONE of us know what your child can and cant do, or your childs history. Best of Luck!

No because artificial sweeteners will screw up your child's ability to control his own food intake, in addition to being unnecessary chemicals.

What you need to do is make jello using fruit juice and unflavored gelatin, here are some instructions on that. Don't add any additional sugar.

yes, jello is a fun but messy food that people of all ages can eat! I gave it to my son a lot, especially when he was teething! The cold jello made his gums feel so much better!

It honestly depends on the 9 month old. If he can eat textured foods, doesn't gag, splutter, or choke, and has no major food allergies (nuts, milk, eggs) then why not? My girls have enjoyed Jell O (ten months old tomorrow) and they like trying to pick it up (keeps them entertained!)

I wouldn't and not because it's sugar free...It's somewhat of a chocking hazard.. It's slippery and can get logged into the throat... although if you mix it with Cool-Whip it will have a more creamy texture....
