We recently moved into a brand new house that we had built and of course got a new phone number.
Apparently the person that had my new number ran up a hospital bill and gave a bogus address and the phone number I now have.
The credit companies call me continuously asking for this person. I tell them to stop call me a because I do not know her but they keep calling.

How do I get them to stop hounding me?

5,000,000 points for the person that can come up with the solution.

find out the name and address of the company making the calls and send them a registered letter telling them not to call you. if they persist after that, you can file suit and get (a small amt. of) damages.
