I dont want to become haunted. But im just wondering how do you become haunted though????

Disturbing the spirits. Wandering off into spirit territory; they don't want you there. Having a dead relative trying to contact you through levitating objects, bursts of cold air, or birds. Summoning a spirit of a dead one without taking the precautions of a safety ritual, at least a circle of salt surrounding you. Angering the spirits in any way.
Be careful.

Usually houses are haunted when there is a suicide or a murder in that house. The spirits of the dead are not necessarily there, but the action of being murdered, or committing suicide leaves an indelible but invisible mark in the house. For example, if someone moves into a house where there has been a suicide, they are likely to experience bad things, because the house will attract evil. I live next door to a house like that and no one has stayed in it any length of time. It is also considered a hidden defect if the landlord doesn't tell you and give you the option of deciding whether to take the house or not. Hope this helps.

lol, are you serious?
doing exactly what you just did is what makes people become haunted. there are good spirits && bad spirits. if you are scared of being haunted, all you're doing is secreting negative energy && bad spirits feed off that energy.
be positive && embrace them b/c the dead can teach you a lot that you'd never know otherwise. they guide you && are very helpful.
push them away && you're just asking for trouble.

It generally has to do with the place. Like, if a bad murder happened at your house, supposedly you can become haunted there.
Ouija boards are also supposed to be a hazard.
