No, you're not a bad person. Cats sleep about 22 hours a day, so I think they can stand being up for a few more minutes!

a cat really has nothing better to do then sleep. however i wake mine several times a day. then he goes back to sleep. so i'd say your not a bad person. don't worry, cats probably have no trouble getting to sleep. they've practiced enough haven't they :)

It depends on how you wake him. If you're petting him and telling him he's a wonderful companion, that's not bad. If you drop a book by his ear to watch him jump, that's mean.

He sounds like he misses you while you're gone, so give him plenty of attention - that's how I keep mine happy!

No..my dog used to sleep all night and on and off alot during the day..I'd wake her up sometimes too. =]

No, he'll just go back to sleep. My cats always do. They're so lazy. I should train them to do something like make me lunch.
