I have each time. The most was $10 too much. It wasn't mine, and the cashier could have lost their job over it. No regrets.

Yes. I did that in the past. It is because it was an honest mistake and it often has to come out the cashier's pocket.

actually last month at the fair they had machines with a lot of change and money in it and if u put quarters in them u mite get money back so we ran out of quarters and went to get some change from the guy and he gave me like 3bucks worth of change for 1 buck i told him and he was like shhhh

if it was alot then yeah I would gice it back
if it was less than 5 dollars why not keep it
