I think its 100% possible. Nuclear weapons are capable of wiping out entire countries. Asteroids can hit Earth at any time, as NASA doesnt have enough funding to take care of it. Wars could break out and kill off entire generations. It has happened before. Whats to stop it again? I think nukes are the most concern to me right now...

YES!!!!!....wait......i think that (if by kill you mean turn into a wasteland that is inhabitable), then we will probably become extinct due to the wasteland. not that we will kill it first. if we kill the planet, there will be nothing to kill ourselves on (i meant to say become extinct on).

no. the earth will kill us first before we can kill her. watch the movie 'the day after tomorrow'. we hastened global warming so the earth cooled down and killed almost all the northern hemisphere.
