i think its ridiculous that a question i asked earlier i was accused of being racist.i said nothing degrading or demeaning .my question was in regards to the legality of my ex daughterinlaw giving her unborn child who happens to be bi-racial her maiden name.she still uses her ex-husbands name which is fine cause they have 2 kids together.dont assume anything about me ,i love my grandchildren and would never say anything about their brother.i am not insensitive or stupid but i am tired of stupid people thinking white people are always racist and cannot be proud of being white.its a double standard.and i worry for my exdaughterinlaw and my grandkids and this baby too.she has hurt my son enough and race has nothing to do with it.its a long story but i only want good things for us all.you have no right to scream racist all the time its getting old and boring.good luck.

I understand. You can't even get a scholarship now days if your not a minority. Every thing benefits the minority's and us white people have hardly any benefits now and we have to take it up the ***. And we still get accused of being racist, I think there are more black and Hispanic racist in the USA than there are white. You can have an all black schools but you can't have an all white school. Double standard all the way. If you are white and you even mention the word race or color then you are accused of being racist. By the way I am married to a Hispanic man and he even says that there are more black and Hispanic racists than there are white people who are racist

Sorry friend however your no longer quite asking some thing right here... simply on a rant. Whatever the item mentioned or no longer, there is not any handy means for a prosecutor or defender to keep such manipulate over the courts as to restrict seating of black jurors to just one in 3 a long time. It are not able to be performed. That mentioned, what the item must have addressed is the loss of registered pool contributors for jury obligation around the demographic spectrum. If there don't seem to be that many blacks to name fro jury obligation then you definately are not going to have many. Racism is the angst of the 60's... permit it pass.

Racism could never be old and boring. White people say that because they have never had to walk in a minority persons shoes. We don't get scholarships like people think. I work and go to school, and so do many other black people I know. The reason there are black colleges etc. Is because throughout history it has been against the law for a black person to read, vote, etc. White people can't say that, we have been mistreated in this country. We have no democracy. I am just glad the Muslims won't let what happen to us happen to them. They stand together and don't sell one another out like we have. Some cultures won't allow themselves to be inslaved and mistreated. We black people built and established this country. Wall street would not be Wall street without us. Our free labor built this institution of America, and we still get no respect. From generations ago, white people have been handed down things from their families. In the minority world what did we get? Sitting on the back of the bus? Just yesterday I saw a police officer racially profile two black men. Open a book, you would see that white men are arrested at higher rates than black men FACT. However, black men are placed in prison at a higher rate FACT. And the list goes on. DON'T YOU EVER FIX YOUR MOUTH TO SAY RACISM IS DEAD> OR THINK THAT WE HAVE IT EASIER> HOW IGNORANT!!!

there isn't any reason why she cannot give the child any name she chooses. She should be aware tho, that if she doesn't give the child the biological father's last name, then she has no right to claim any kind of support from him should that situation arrise, it would not legally be considered his child if she writes anything other than his last name on the birth certificate.
As for someone saying you were being racist, sorry, you were, what does her being biracial have to do with what she names her child? nothing. That part of your question is racist.

Well, to be honest, I agree with you. I think that it is easier for people to pull out the race card and judge then to actually listen.
The child is not born yet so she cannot give it a name. When said child is born I think she can give whatever surname she chooses but if she goes after him for paternity he may have rights and will be able to fight to change the name.
Why would she want to not give her child the same last name as his/her siblings? That sounds like someone is being petty to me.

The only bigots here are the ones who come to bash us LGBT folks.
You'd be better off posting in the General area.

And you asked this question in the LGBT issues category, instead of the "General society and culture" section where it belongs?

I see no other questions by you in this area. Sorry, you must have us confused with bigots in another Y!A area.
