According to the NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll released today Congress' approval rating is now 6 points below George Bush's approval rating. The President's approval is at 29% while Congress's approval is a dismal 23%

Now these numbers are not coming from Neocon pollsters. They are coming from main stream media pollsters and they show that the much ballyhooed Dem/Lib control Congress is disliked even more than the President is disliked.

Dems/Libs you can put whatever spin you want on it but you guys are no better off than Dubya. ROFLMFAO!!!! ROFLMFAOS!!!!

Here's what I say about it. 49% of Congress is still Republican harping the same old party line. We did some house-cleaning last November - next round will clean house and get rid of the rest of 'em.

The 2008 election will turn our country back to the people and take it into the 21st century. This process is not going to go well for any Republican holding any office, anywhere.

Well, many Repubs have a hard time with reading comprehension!

Bush is one man. The Congress is many more than that and have traditionally been lower than presidents in ratings, though Bush is one of the lowest ever.

"You guys are no better off"? Isn't it a fact, the Senate is 1 person short of control by the other party, and the Congress not many more. That means almost 1/2 are Republicans!

What you are seeing is 12 years of Republican failure in every branch of government.

This war is going to have a backlash like you have never seen!

What liberal media? Give me a break here. There is no such thing as liberal mainstream media. The media is corporate and they are in it for the money. Who owns NBC? GE owns it. What other things does GE own or make? Well, GE makes weapons, nukes and other artillary for the defence dept. Which means they are profitting off this war in IRaq. They aren't going to give any information out that will destroy their American taxpayer cash cow in government. That said, the polls for congress are down because the Dems didn't deliver on their promise of getting out of Iraq. It was lower when the GOP controlled both houses. Too many hawks in the Democratic party sided with the GOP on throwing more money at Bush's expensive war. And, you keep gloating about this? The fact that Americans are disgusted with both the house, the senate and the White House is nothing to gloat about. I say it is a very very sad day when the American people think so poorly of their own government.
The fact remains that Americans are fed up with our government and the lies of this administration and their failures. We're fed up with the war, just like we were during Viet Nam and the lies of Nixon. All you have to do is go back in history to understand that we are just reliving it but even more intensely. People need to stop voting for the lesser of 2 evils and start voting for a 3rd and 4th party if they really want change. Otherwise we are going to continue getting the crappy government that we deserve.

Hah, what's with the pirate talk? I have not have been given any faith, yet I carry morals in extreme regard. What little I learn Gnostics (from a e book with a Satanic slant), i ought to relate to. Their god Abraxas replaced into the god of nice and evil, an extremely human and real looking theory. i do no longer take part in any sort of hundreds or practices. i'm into technological awareness and philosophy, and that i attempt to attitude faith/spirituality from that attitude as quickly as I can. in my opinion regardless of the incontrovertible fact that, i think of assorted the substantial religions have been exploited for use of power, and function been far-removed from their unique purpose. merely seem on the elementary Christian, for occasion. Jesus could be rolling in his grave if he did no longer magically ascend into the clouds.

Well congress is part republican, but Bush is 100% republican. Anyway, how can you take solace in the fact that Congress' collective feet stink worse than the president's by such a small margin?

For those who do not believe in media bias check the study done by the UCLA researchers in 2004.

congress almost always has a very low approval rating......if you ask people about specific members of congress, the result will be different.....your poll in no way indicates that republicans have a higher approval rating than democrats at this time

Wow...so you're somehow proud of that 29%? Right now the American people are justifiably fed up with everyone in power. The only poll that will really matter is on election day, 2008, and we all know that's not going to reflect well on your side.
