yes, I was the only white working in a division of all Vietnamese.
It was a tech job in California and it paid well, I had no real issues with my co-workers. They were very kind and helpful and if i was in the area they spoke as much English as they could and asked me for help in pronunciation.
They're a very socially oriented group and I saw many of them turn down promotions because they didn't want to be placed over their friends.
They have a great sense of loyalty and respect when treated with the same respect.
It was a good experience for me.

My wife quit the "Desert Inn" in Las Vegas when it was still there. No one spoke English anymore, this included the union Stewart. I had to get an interpreter to get my wife's wages straightened out, we ended up with three people before we got one that understood enough English to help us.
She was the outcast, in America, at an American work place and, when they made a "green card" check, they lost two thirds of their people.
When she hurt her hand and was bleeding badly she couldn't get help, they totally ignored her. The guards were "to busy" to help, if they understood English. I had to run down and get her, the doctor put in ten stitches. when it was brought up to administration, all hell broke lose. She got a week off, with pay and two free dinners and, flowers.
