Yes! Many a time I've seen a question, and I've thought of what I want to say, and then I've started typing, and it just goes out of my head - SO annoying.

The reason that seldom happens to me is because I completely focus on the person I am answering before I slide the keypad close to my hands. I have a mental picture of that person who is asking the question all the while I am giving my reply. That tends to keep the question very focused right through until the end of it. I have you focused in my head right now so you can easily see this answer is totally focused on you. It is reader-specific.

Usually when I start answering a question I remind myself of the time I lost a hat on a bus. And so I rang up and they had found it and .....
Wait a minute, what was the question again?

-Sometimes, when I answer a question something comes up that I have to do so I leave the question and when I return I forget what I wanted to say.-

It's called short term memory loss. I get it sometimes. I will also USE this disability when I WANT to forget something when someone is asking me something I don't want to talk about I will just act dumb knowing full well what is going on. lol.
