If I wanted double-glazing, my roof repairing, to change my utility supplier, home insurance, saving by jehovah/mormons, or anything else, I'd have f***ing asked for it

Yes, and if I see them coming down the path I will hide, or if I do answer the door I just tell them it's not my house - which it isn't - and that gets rid of them, especially as the only sales people we get are for utilities or double glazing.

No, I like people coming round with fancy wares. Just hate door to door canvassers; those trouts tricking you into signing your electric company over..

"pricey Uninvited travellers: I easily have this extraordinary reaction to my doorbell and knocks on my door. when I listen them, they reason me to throw 10 gallon buckets of water on the man who rang the bell or knocked on the door. My 10 gallon buckets broke this morning so i have upgraded...pass ahead, push the bell!" oh yes they certainly do...............must follow a few home one day and knock half a dozen times when there in bath or sitting down to tea......did play the phone touts up one time,must of rang the same firm 100 times in a week and said "how do you like it", how rude they were back lol
