I found this spider in my bathroom last night and was curious as to what kind it was.

I hate spiders and after seeing several of them in my room as well as around the house, I wanted to know more information about them.

Here's some pictures I took last night.
I apologize for the quality, they were on my ceiling and it was hard to get close to them.

This one was about half an inch long, but I've seen some as long as an inch. They're very fast and like to stay on the edge of the ceiling.

Any help in identification or information about them would be appreciated.

Wolf Spider

There are several sub-species but here's some basic info:

It's hard to tell because your pictures are not detailed enough to show any markings on the body.
I could be a member of the Wolf Spider family or Funnel Web Spider Family or Grass Spider Family.
Without a more detailed picture we are just guessing on the Family that the spider is in.

Wolf spider. Try to capture it and get it out of your home. Do not handle it with your bare hands, as they are highly aggressive and give a nasty bite. They have very long fangs and are closely related to tarantulas

I believe that it is a common brown spider, common brown spiders are similar to wolf spiders, however they are not as large. Common brown spiders will bite, and may leave a welt, but it is not a highly venomous spider.

This is a common brown house spider, they are not poisonous but will bite and leave knots. My brother was bit by one last year in the shower.

Wolf spider. I live in NE AZ and find them quite often. They look like mini-tarantulas. Scary, and will crawl upside down over your bed, be careful!!!!
