Personally I think that they are both outstanding countries. I am proud that they are our allies and friends. I think that their dignified manner and somewhat refined demeanor is a good example for many of us (yep I am an American) who are loud, obnoxious rude and arrogant. That being said, we are a country that always runs to the aid of others and contributes a lot of our GDP to helping other countries and helping our own citizens who can not help themselves, such as the elderly and disabled.
In other words, they are both wonderful, both flawed and both unique. I think that we could learn a lot from each other.

well the thing is that u.s was good but now it is decreasing because most of the people do everytning for the money......money........politicains....money, let's face it america is a power moner oil hungry monster and it's sadly becoming worse......great britain......on the hand is doing ok and since our currency is less then theirs it's harder to go to there and travel with alot of money.....but also great britain doesn't revolve around money like america does

To me they are both equal......but I would consider them to fall below a lot of other countries for failing to maintain world peace and starting wars e.g. war on Iraq.
