Tell me what you think is a 'normal' amount of sex for partners who have been living together for several years. I would like to see if the answer I get is similar to what is published in magazines like Cosmo.

Well I must agree with above that there is no "normal" answere. Yes, everybody does have different sex drives. However if you are not satisfied with the amount you are getting you can try talking to your partner about it. You can also try planning romantic dinners/dates and special time with them to get them more 'into the mood'. You can also try looking up special toys or gadgets to spice up that side of the area if you're looking for more.
As for the answere to your actual question: 4-6x a week.

I don’t think you can say there is a normal amount of sex for couples. Every couple is different; you have to take into a lot of other aspects of the relationship. I think couples should be intimate when ever and as often as they like while taking into consideration your partners likes and desires. I don’t think that it is good for one person to neglect the sexual needs of the other by refusing to have sex, I think that people should try to satisfy themselves and their partner and if there are any sexual problems they should talk about it and try to resolve them.

Then look up Cosmo and see what they say. The truth is what is "normal" is whatever works for the 2 of you.

If one of you are not satisfied with the frequency, then discuss it. Hopefully an acceptable compromise can be reached.

Well. I think that if your not married it's going to wear you out. Therefore, any sex period is too much. But, If you feel like your relationship isn't strong enough without it than I guess that's sorta your lose. NO one should have sex without a wedding band on their finger. Of course sadly that's society and your just another satistic!

normal is whatever feels right for you and your partner. As long as you are satisfied with you life sexually thats all that matter. if you want it more than he is giving to you or vice versa then you have a problem...just keep the communication open and do what ever feels right for the both of you.

What's normal, is whatever the couple decides is normal. No magazine or stranger on the internet should be dictating what is normal for your relationship.
