Americans think?
Im not sure since you have a lot of Irish people there anyway so the Irish-Americans will think the Irish to be ok I guess.
Of course if Hollywood is to believed then all Irish people are New York cops that have spent their entire career on the streets and will get shot just before retirement. There are no Irish women in America....nowhere.
He will look like an Irish cop. He will be overweight and everyone in the local community will love him. He will have a 'special relationship' with everyone in the 'bad quarters' that is inhabited by Blacks, Mexicans, Philipino and other people of Latin extraction.
There is only one white couple in this part of town and they are of course upright individuals still guilt-ridden over that parking ticket they got 20 years ago.
The Irish cop will be shot by a South American, druglord's sidekick called 'Jaun'. He will himself get shot a week later for stepping on the druglord's carpet. He will then be shot several times more for getting blood on it.
The whole community will turn up for the cops funeral and his wife (blonde, 25 and devoted) will take great comfort in all the love and support. In the meantime, someone will be ransacking her apartment. She will later marry the local social worker and devote the remainder of her life to charitable works.
Closure following a death after a 25 year marriage, according to Hollywood, usually takes three hours. They will have been married for 25 years even though she is only 25 herself.
The real answer : 100 million people = 100 million points of view except those that watch the same tv channels or films made in Hollywood.

I visted there very briefly. The country was very pretty and intersting.........like you go back in history seeing the castles.
I personally don't drink or enjoy the taste of liquor, so I thought a lot of beer drinking went on in all the pubs.
It was unusual to see so many out at night. The money exchange was sort of complicated since I'd never done it.
Also I saw a lot of untruth about the USA in your paper at the news stand. Irish people would believe what someone at that newspaper wrote. It concerned me, because I knew the other side.
We had to stay with our tour guide, so we couldn't really get to know much about the Irish people.
The food was different also.
