Sure don't! I don't believe in it either. I hear every day how the polar ice caps are melting and oceanic levels are rising. If that's the case then why is it that the majority of Antarctica now has thicker portions of ice than it has for over 70 years?

Then I see a picture of a momma polar bear and her cub that have been stranded on a chunk of ice since they are no longer able to swim the increasing distance between land masses. Come to find out that this picture that has been floating around the internet and TV news was an old one from 1975, and if you can see the full picture rather than the cropped version the bears aren't even stranded on a chunk of ice. They're standing on the shoreline of the main continent!

All of the scientists who dissent from the popular view of global warming are either fired or ignored. It seems that the media has closed their ears to any information other than that confirming their beliefs.

If, however, you really want to cut down on pollution stop burning leafs! The byproduct of burning leafs contains more in the way of pollutants than a car's exhaust does.

Global warming is a lie that democrats made up to get us to vote for them. Only a gullible person who doesn't know Science would believe that crap. Here are a few points:

1) Pollution (all types) with the introduction of new technology has gotten better not worse.

2) There are less factories that burn toxic wastes.

3) The earth is not hurling closer to the sun

4) The sun is not getting hotter

5) Starvation can NOT cause anorexia.

6) There are WAY too many theories that contract themselves

7) There are scientists proving this "global warming" theory wrong

Well, I suppose that I could reduce reuse and recycle, but one person working towards the effects of global warming is not going to make a difference. We would all have to change how we do things and get rid of a lot of the things we deem neccessary like power plants, using cars with fuel in them, and finding ways to conserve water and electricity.
Unfortunatley for us we live a society where sometimes using more water in a household can cost less and we get what we want when we want it. I think my small efforts aren't even going to put a dent in the gloabl warming situation and so I am for living like everyone else until we can all find a way to change.
The big question though is what are we doing to reverse the effects of the slowing in the North Atlantic belt? I guess it all comes down to are scientists right, or does nature have a way of fixing itself over time? We may never know. Good question though it gave me something to think about.

Just an iota.
It's not like 1 person is going to make a difference, not with minimizing the effects of global warming.
And even if more people pitch in, there is still going to be a majority of stubborn people who really don't give a damn.
Oh well.

Honestly I do, but I think as a world we have a lot more problems to solve as a society before we waste precious time and energy on that. If the world destroys itself at the current pace with hatred there won't be a world left for Global warming to destroy.

Your question is limited to only the "effects of global warming," not global warming in general so my response is very blunt.
If you looked at the "potential" effects of global warming, you would be very concerned. The controversy is not on the effects, but on whether global warming is truly occuring from human/industrial activity. e

What global warming? Its in the 70's where I'm at. Very mild. To answer the question, no, I don't care, simply because there has not been one shred of credible evidence to show that it even exists. It's just another method to control the actions and assets of the masses.

From looks of some of the retarded replies on here, people like having their minds and assets controlled. Buncha pathetic sheep.
