You just wait and see. One of these days Bush is going to say something that more than 10% of the nation can actually understand.

I am sure you heard the old cliché that if it “Looks like a duck, or sounds like duck, it probably is a duck”. Well the same holds true for the question of Bush and his intelligence. If Bush sounds intellectually incompetent, and makes decisions that resemble what an unthinking person would do, then it is probably because he really is dense. Always look for the simplest explanation for why things are the way they are than trying to find some more complex rationale for why things are the way they are. Bush behaves like a moron because that is what he is.

Well, he did beat Ann Richards as governor of Texas and she was quite popular and well known. And then he ran for President against John Kerry and did not do as well as he did in the debates and still won, and ran again against Al Gore and again won. I think that people underestimate him and that gives him a slight advantage when he does or says something slightly charismatic and intellegent. Charismatic people like Hitler and say Clinton, can sound really great and do terrible things once in power
One has to wonder about the intentions of those they seek to control. And with 80% of US colleges no longer teaching history (b/c history tends to repeat itself, as the economy is cyclical), it is much easier to control those who are intellectually challeged and have no desire to actually educate themselves. These same people then cast a vote based upon just listening to three debates; rather than an intellecutual decision.
I would not underestimate a single person that ran for President or won. What an ego you would have to have to think that you are "good enough and smart enough" to be the leader of the "free world". I use that term b/c the media referes to the President of the U.S. that way. Just an opinion, I simply do not trust anyone who has been in Washington for any length of time as they "owe" too many favors to too many people and generally they are not "the people" as stated in the preamble of the Constitution.

The better question is...
Since bush looks stupid, and sounds stupid, does that automatically make him stupid?
And what does that make John Kerry who lost to him?

Nope. Just makes him part of YOUR FAMILY.
You must be his twin brother. What a dumb question.
But there is a difference: Bush is as stupid as a fox. You are as dumb as a sheep.
