There are birth control options out there that you can use while breastfeeding. i use the Nuva Ring and nurse. The only thing I have noticed is my daughter has little boobies. I don't know if it is from the birth control or just because she is a little chunk! Talk to your doc about what would be best for you.

During and after 5 successful pregnancies, I have tried birth control... but with the different warnings about The "new" birth control U might need to ask your doctor.

There is only one kind of birth control that can be taken while nursing. Of course I don't have them here with me, so I cant tell you the name, but your OBGYN will know. They are the lowest dose of birth control. The down fall is they have to be taken at the same time everyday within a 3hr window unlike regular pills you can miss a day or two and take them at any time.

depo is the best one that i have heard from but ask your gyn about this because they know the safest ones you can use.
