i was looking at fielding stats. wat's TC? I know that PO means putouts. But i was looking at like outfielders stats and noticed TC. Total Chances? I'm not even sure if that's right. How do they calculate that?

TC - total chances implies any opportunity to make an error since it is used to calculate fielding percentage. this would include fielding, catching and throwing. however it isn't calculated that way. the formula is TC = assists + putouts + errors

e.g. as a right fielder, you have 4 base hits hit to you through the 3-4 hole. you must simply field the ball and throw it back to an infielder and hopefully keep the runner at first. you have 8 opportunities to make an error which would be recorded if the batter reaches second by your actions; 1 each to field the ball and 1 each to throw the ball to an infielder, but no "chances" according to the definition unless you actually make an error. not a good indication of fielding ability IMO.

Total Chances. Every opportunity to make a play. When turning the double play, two chances accrue -- the immediate putout and the assist to getting the second putout.

Total chances - basically, assists + putouts + errors.
