If you want to spend the money installing a diesel engine in your Malibu, know that you're also looking at stuff like a fuel pump, injector pump, different wiring, different (or custom) ECU, different fuel tank, and a whole lot of modifications and custom work.
However, if you get all that to work, your car will run on biodiesel just as well as regular dino diesel.

What year? The front end may not handle the weight, need to replace transmission, fuel tank, computer, exhaust.Fuel lines need glow plug relay, and a light on the dash for when the engine is ready to start.Bio diesel is not quite there yet, what they don't tell you is how long an engine last,on bio fuels, used vegetable oil still needs the volatility of diesel,or ethanol. The Cummings Engine would allow 10% of used oil to be mixed with diesel fuel, and that was during WWII. By a VW diesel Jetta, and use your Classic on Sundays, with Jay Leno

Use the car that has the engine already in, you will save a lot of trouble.
It will cost nearly 1400 to convert

I hate to say this, but if you need to ask, you better seek some professional advice.
It isn't simple and I think finding a local custom car club and talking to members will give good leads.
