when ur dating, how long does it take to know if that guy/girl is the one...9 dates havent done it for me and i was wondering if giving it time is what i should do??

You can’t rush things like this. You cant set a timed schedule to find out if the person you are with is the one. Some people know before others, and it is even possible for two people in the relationship to know at different times. But when you know you will just know, you will feel it, and you wont need to ask anyone if he is the one. Sometimes you have to take the time to really get to know the person, and even after that time people can end up growing apart. But if he is the one for you then when the time is right you will know.

Well it depends on how long you guys have been going out for. Also I would say you will know if hes the one b/c he faltters you and puts you first in his life. Ok maybe not the very first thing but towards the top of his list. If he makes you happy and is kind and doesn't treat you bad. Knowing if someone is the "one" is like, not to get religious or anything but, is like knowing when god has excepted you into his life when you are ready to get baptised. I hope this helps!

In the past I've dated people for years and never knew. When the time is right you'll know. You're young. You have plenty of time to find the one.

you dont just find love on nine dates. if you have a good time with this person and you know you like them much and youknow that they like you...then why mess up somethign good just because after nine dates fireworks havent went off.
give it sometime.
