I have a couple of friends that, when they found out I liked her said , "Eww, she's so ugly. How can you listen to her?" I'm just amazed by the ignorance of my usually intelligent friends. What do looks have to do with a persons talent? I think it's great that a slightly unfortunate looking artist is as popular as she is. I love her music and style.. anyone agree?

amy winehouse is great!!! her blend of 50's and 60's doo wop with modern issues is refreshing to the repetitive and bland music sceen. but everyone has their haters. you wouldn't be famous if you didn't

I must admit she is a bit weird and crazy. She has her own style and for most artists you have to find your own style, something that seperates you from others. Amy's hair is a perfect example, this is her..when people talk about Amy Winehouse, they will probably mention her big beehive hair. lol!
Otherwise-she has amazing talent. She CAN SING! She CAN Play guitar and write...
I don't think looks should define talent.
Hello, there are many artists/actresses out there who are beautiful but they can't sing or act....
I have seen some unattractive artists/actresses and they can sign/act.
No one should be solely judged by their looks when it comes to TALENT!!

Whats her music got to do with the way she looks, "eew she ugly", she aint ulgy! And even if she was it should effect distract you from her music! Keep listening to her anfd forget what your friends think. I love the b****!

I haven't heard much from her, but what I have heard, I LOVE. I greatly respect the fact that she uses real music (real instruments, etc). I love her sound, it's jazzy, bluesy, and retro sounding.
I am actually considering buying her album.
Oh, and on her appearance, I think she actually has a very pretty face.

I don't like her. Everyone thinks she is so original but she is just copying like everyone else. Plus, singing about rehab does not make someone talented.

She's definitely not a very good performer and her voice isn't great, but she's obviously doing something right. She is ok, but I really don't like her.

She's a hell of a lot better than these wanna-be's. Lindsay, Britney, Hillary, Paris...all mechanically generated to sound better. They suck.
