It is not mentionned anywhere I know. All I can tell is that his parents divorced at 5 years old and both got remarried. I suppose he see him sometimes because he has 2 half brothers from the second marriage of his father (Jonathan and Stephen). And I also suppose that he has a good relationship with him, read a little about JT talking about how wise his father his:

Good question. I've never even heard him so much as mention his father. I'm guessing the relationship must not be all that great but of course that's just my own personal speculation.
