They say most jailbirds are guys between 18-30 years old. Why is this?

Good question... They say that 18-30 is a time in a guys life where he has all these daredevil instincts and the common sense and logical part of their brain is not fully developed. I don't mean that as a slam or anything- It's an honest to goodness truth. Could be the case. :)

i don't know but i do know that alot of them are either, adopted out, lived in foster care, were adopted by other family members, or are missing one parent or the other. it's sad that not too many people even notice and even more sad that alot of people don't care. that just shows you how much the government cares about mental health.
i would say 18-30 is a transition period in peoples lives when they are coming into themselves. if they are still hurting, the hurt turns to anger, and that anger turns into crimes.

Testosterone the male hormone easily gets them into trouble. They just haven't learnt a socially acceptable way to express themselves and possibly have poor role models, so it's a reoccurring social problem unless someone works out how to break the cycle.

Once you're over thirty, most guys settle down a bit. Young guys are always full of piss and vinegar, and not using their brains much, so they get into trouble.

They get a certain age like when they are a teenager and they don't want to mind anybody anymore. They are grown and they don't get the respect that they deserve so they do something to prove it.
