Your connection should be fast enough. Probably there are too many people listening at the same time to that particular station.

An internet radio station can only service so many people before it runs out of bandwidth on its server.

I would contact the station and politely suggest that they buy some more bandwidth so they you can listen!

Because you have a slow internet connection. Get something like DSL or Broadband. Sometimes cable sucks, too.

Because your computer cannot handle the amount of information streaming from the radio station all at once. Your internet connectin is too slow. It has to take it in pieces, and it gets behind.

Your internet connection is most likely too slow. Cable and DSL are best for music and movies over the internet.
