Don't just say "yes" or "no", but give me an explanation as to why you do or do not want to see it. I DO! I SAW THE FIRST ONE, WHICH WAS GOOD, AND SEEING THE SECOND ONE COULD BE JUST AS GOOD!

I plan on seeing the 2nd one in the theatres also.
I am hoping for more action, because other than the end of the first film, it dragged a bit in places.
I am very interested in seeing the return of Dr. Doom.
I want to see how they defeat Galactus and how they convince the Surfer to turn on Galactus.
I am a bit concerned because I have seen early reports that say the movie is just barely 90 minutes long.
That isnt going to bode well for a movie that could easily clock in around the 120 minute to 150 minute mark with the potential plotlines and implications of Galactus' appearance.
I am not all that thrilled with Tim Story's ability to make a movie though, so as with the first movie, I will blame him for a lackluster film if it turns out crappy.

I'm looking for the same exact thing, I can't find it anywhere, so far the only proof of him even being in the film is a trailer on Youtube of it, where it shows Galactus's shadow. But oce I heard from Tom Rothman that in the new Fantastic Four film that Galacatus would take the form of a cloud, it really got me ticked, and I started beating the floors, and taking my anger out by beating up sock puppets. But here's that link to the trailer, pause about 21 seconds into it to see Galactus, but I hope it will still be a good film He's still in comic form, he's the Gah Lak Tus version. But pause 21 seconds into the clip to see the cloud, I think this will be a good movie, and I'm only seeing it becuase The Silver Surfer and Galactus is in it.

Don't get me wrong, the first movie was good, and I LOVE Fantastic Four. But what they've done to Galactus is inexcusable. Galactus is now a giant storm cloud.
I'm not usually one to shrug off a movie so quickly, but that's terrible. They couldn't even go with the Ultimate Galactus, which was a swarm of machines. Instead, we get an evil storm cloud.
When you go so far out of your way to ruin one of the better Marvel villains out there, not even the Silver Surfer can make it better.
At this point, there are only two redeeming qualities about this movie, and both of them are Jessica Alba. That's just not enough to make it a good movie at this point. What they did to Galactus is the equivalent of making Dr. Doom an evil girl scout that throws fireballs. In other words: it doesn't make any freakin' sense.

I would like to see it, but it might be a letdown.
The first movie was rated PG-13, and the Rise of the Silver Surfer is rated PG.
I hope it's not lame...

I really want to see it! The first one was just awesome! I can't wait for the second one, I really want to see it. I keep thinking that I will wake up in the theater. haha. The costumes, new gagdets look cool, but mostly the silver surfer! Wow! He is totalyl awesome!

I put off seeing the first one because everyone who had seen it before me said that it was terrible. After i finally got around to seeing it, i enjoyed it. Although it was a bit long. But i will def see the second one, ill wait till its a few weeks out, i hate seeing movies with big crowds.

i do want to see it but not so badly that i'll go to the theater. i'll probably just wait til it comes on dvd. the first one was pretty good. the silver surfer looks like it'll be good. in the trailer they say that whatever planet the surfer goes to, the planet dies in eight days; sounds interesting.

Definitely yes! Who wouldn't want to see the Surfer in action? He's one of the toughest guys in the marvel universe!

yea i do, but my dad wants to see it more, cuz he loved the comics of the silver surfer, and now hes in this fantastic four, and i think it will be really good

I probably will see it, but I really have no urge to go see it. The first one was alright, at best. The graphics were good, but the plotline seemed so bland. I will probably get it on DVD or see it in the theaters, but not on opening week.
